Introduction

Matoshree Sevadham ArogyaSeva Trust is implementing Eye and ENT Screening Camps for Tribal Students & Villagers at locations of Jawhar Block of Palghar district. This project is selected for Ashram school, ZP schools and few villages in Jawhar and Mokhada.

Activities:

• - A team of eye specialist doctors and volunteers conduct eye & ear checkups on daily basis.
• - Every school & all villages in that area are catered by our team during the screening camps.

Outcomes :

• - Successfully conducted Eye& ENT Screening in 11 schools at Mokhada&Jawhar locations.
• - Successfully conducted screening of 3178 children.
• - Successfully completed eye screening camps in 12 villages at Mokhada location. Total of 805 eye screenings has been done in this particular region.

• - Currently, we have identified certain areas where we looking forward for your cooperation:
• - 1178 students need spectacles.
• - 174 villagers require cataract surgery on immediate basis.
• - 68 students require ENT related surgery

AN APPEAL

In many poverty-stricken parts of India, the blind and visually impaired are considered a burden. Without proper healthcare and the necessary support network in place, many of these people become socially isolated and excluded from mainstream community activities when diagnosed with otherwise entirely treatable conditions.

MatoshreeSevadhamArogyaSeva Trust aims to change that and thereby, building a brighter future for those affected by preventable blindness in developing countries.

Since the time we took this initiative & began this campaign, we have provided help over 12000 + cataract surgeries, restoring the sight, hope, and independence of countless vulnerable people around the India.
