As we know due to unstable weather conditions in Beed, Latur, Solapur, Vardha & Nashik district of Maharashtra, these areas are always under the shadow of Drought. People are unable to get proper drinking water and also for other regular usage, Can we imagine LIFE WITHOUT WATER!

Dr. Manoj Chavhan, Managing Trustee of MAST has been constantly working for drought relief. And with the vision of our Trustee, MAST has been able to continuously provide water supply in remotest locations of drought affected areas.

Activities Undertaken:

• - Immediate relief measures given to the drought affected villages from the above mentioned 4 districts suffering from acute water shortage by providing 200 water storage tanks with a storage capacity of 5000 litres each.
• - The water storage tanks were distributed in 140 villages in Akkalkot, Usmanabad, Beed, Latur, TulajapurKarmala andNashik districts from Maharashtra.
• - Quality drinking water was supplied continuously through tankers from 15 April 2019 onwards.
• - Providing 2 tankers of water supply every day in every above mentioned village.
